Reverend Tom Clymer is a native of Nashville, TN. He is the eldest of three adopted children so he feels incredibly blessed to be twice chosen once by amazing parents and above all by our Lord. Tom is a graduate of Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN with a B.S. in Business and worked in public accounting for several years before being called by the Lord into ministry. He is a graduate of Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA and served the Lord in the PC(USA) for many years before joyfully entering the EPC in 2009.
Tom has a passsion for Christ and preaching and teaching the Word of God. His gifts are for church renewal, church planting, community ministry and evangelism. He and his "much better half" Kathy, love serving the Lord, enjoy a strong marriage and have 3 grown children.

The Rev. Howard G. Shockley, D.Min., serves as Administrative Director and Stated Clerk for the Presbytery. He has been a member of EPC since its first General Assembly in 1981. Before accepting his current call, he served as a Pastor in East Tennessee and Asheville, North Carolina and as a church planter for the first EPC congregation in North Carolina. He has served as Recording Clerk for several General Assembly meetings and is current Chairman of GA's Constitution Revisions Committee. He and his wife Margaret reside in Moore, SC (near Spartanburg).

Bucky currently serves as Church Development Coordinator and is Chair of the Church Development Committee for the Mid-Atlantic after many years as a local church pastor. He has also served as a Transitional Pastor in our churches. Both winsome and tenacious he uses his gifts of discernment, apostleship and shepherding in unique ways to train and disciple. In an earlier life he served as Executive Vice President of Buckelew Hardware Company in Louisiana while serving in lay ministry capacities. Bucky has been trained at Wheaton (MA), McCormick (MDiv), Trinity Evangelical (PhD), and schooled by his wife, Matilda since 1980.

Dr. Priddy is a seasoned ministry development practitioner, trainer and consultant who currently serves as the Executive Director of the GO Center with the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic. His ministry operates out of Richmond, VA, and is heavily weighted in church planting and revitalization. A former church planter and revitalization pastor, Ken has devoted the past twelve plus years to working with pastors and church leaders to establish health, growth and multiplication in their churches, often from the posture of long-term plateau or decline. His M.Div. and D.Min. are from RTS Orlando and his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies is from Newburgh Theological Seminary. Ken and his wife, Sharon, recently celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary. They have four adult children and two grandchildren.

Kathy Clymer is a pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother, Christian Speaker and Bible Study Teacher. She and her husband Tom are located in Greensboro, NC and attend Buffalo Presbyterian Church, EPC, where he is the pastor. Kathy has always been extremely active in Women and Children’s Ministries within the churches to which God has called her family. She has been a member of the PMA Women’s Ministry Council for the past 7 years and has served the last 3 years as Vice Chair/Program Director. She assumed her duties as Moderator of the Women at the September, 2017 meeting. “We are planning to expand our ministry of love, care, prayer and resource to more women and churches within our Presbytery in the coming years. Our goal is to provide a “connection” from our Women’s Council to the local church by communicating through face to face opportunities, newsletters and personal liaisons - making our Presbytery seem smaller and more intimate.” If you have any questions regarding the work of the Women’s Council, a need in which the Council can assist your church or organization or would just like Kathy to come and speak with your women, please contact her at email@example.com. “We are here to serve you!

Jeff currently serves as the Lead Pastor with Restoration Church in Mechanicsville, VA. He has served as a Discipleship Pastor and Small Group Pastor at previous churches in Virginia and Washington State. He and his wife, Laurie are parents of four daughters: Cambria, Avery, Carys, and Eliana. His life was forever changed when he first heard about God’s unconditional love in 1 John 4:10 during his freshman year in high school--“This is love: not that we loved God, but he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” Jeff’s primary passion is to help encourage, lead, and equip people in their spiritual formation as followers of Christ. He enjoys running, hiking, swimming, reading, and taking adventure trips with his family. Before transitioning to full time church ministry, he worked in private industry as a software engineer and consultant for 6 years. His academic background & training includes a Bachelor Degree from the University of Virginia—School of Engineering & Applied Science and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton New Jersey.

Rev. Cobb is the Pastor of Cleveland Presbyterian Church in Abingdon, Virginia and serves as the Chaplain of the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic. He prays with his wife Joy, pictured here, regularly for the pastors and churches in the Presbytery. Their home is also an oasis for many pastors and their families. We are blessed as a Presbytery to have Keith and Joy ministering to us!
Tom is a native of California and began serving as a pastor with the EPC in 1994 with the Presbytery of the West. He also served as a pastor with the PC(USA) in Ohio and California. Tom joined the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic in 2011 and has been serving as a pastor and transitional pastor in South Carolina. He has a shepherd’s heart, a passion for preaching, discipleship, guiding pastors and church elders through challenging transitions and equipping believers to utilize their spiritual gifts. Tom is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (MDiv) and a perpetual student in the school of wolf & sheep bites. He met his wife at Fuller, they were married in 1989, and have two grown children. When pondering various experiences in ministry Tom has found increasing value for James 4:6 "And He gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.'"

Dr. Buchanan has served as the Assitant Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic since 2012 and has served in missions, church planting, and pastoral ministry for over twenty-five years. He holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He's been married to his wife Karen since 1990 and they have three grown children, Ian, Hannah, and Karis.
