For more information or questions, please contact TE Jeff Smith, PMA World Missions Committee Chair. Emergency Fund for Missionaries A special emergency fund for missionaries has been established by the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic (for missionaries hailing from our presbytery). This fund is being kicked off by a matching gift challenge of $5,000. The deadline for this matching gift is January 31, 2021. Could you check to see if there are any unused missions funds for 2020 at your church that will "go away" after December 31? Or would you consider allotting 2021 dollars for this fund and get them sent right after the new year? Personal donations are also welcomed from you or your congregation! Checks should be made out to the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic and mailed to our treasurer— Tim Burns For more information or questions, please contact TE Jeff Smith, PMA World Missions Committee Chair. ![]() Global Training Network Doug and Abby Vinez are missionaries to Zambia and Namibia with Global Training Network. We help missionaries live out their faith in Christ in tangible, relevant ways through practical skills training. We offer a variety of multi-day courses at our headquarters in Marion, North Carolina, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our field-tested courses prepare missionaries to serve in their context, giving them specialized skills to minister to the physical as well as the spiritual needs of those they serve. Our experienced instructors teach missionaries, whether career missionaries or short-term mission trip laypeople, how to be versatile in their settings, creatively using the resources available to serve their communities. Equip teaches specialized courses that address four major areas of human need: water, shelter, health care, and community development—

![]() Timothy Two Project International Timothy Two Project International (TTPI) exists to serve a critical need around the world. We are committed to equipping and training indigenous pastors and ministry leaders with the essential truths of the Christian faith so they can train others. This way, the mandate from Christ in the Great Commission to “make disciples” can be accomplished in areas of the world where there is little or no formal biblical or theological training available. What sets TTPI apart is the Philosophy of Ministry we use. We travel to cities and villages where pastors need training, but cannot leave their homes and families to go to a Bible College. The Lord raises up a host pastor, who invites 8-12 key pastors in the area to a workshop. This interactive training week enables local pastors to receive a foundation for their faith. TTPI is based upon 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” When a pastor finishes a TTPI workshop, he leaves with all of our material in his own language, plus notes he has taken from the dialogue we use to help transfer biblical truths from the head to the heart. He is ready to use this same material to train others. All of our theology is based upon the Westminster Confession of Faith. RE Dr. Steve Curtis is the Director of TTPI and oversees the work in Asia. You can contact Steve at steve@timothytwo.org or 910-508-9229. TE Dr. Bryan Slater is the Director for Africa. You can contact him at bryan@timothytwo.org or 910-547-8891. TE Rev. Dan Sonnenberg is the Director for Latin America. You can contact him at dan@timothytwo.org or 910-274-1470. If any Teaching Elder is interested in joining us, we welcome you! You can use your study time or vacation time to impact pastors around the world! We ask that a TE or biblically well-trained RE sit through one workshop with a TTPI trainer so the TE or RE can experience the model we use. Then we would send him/her out to train another group of pastors on his/her own. For more information, please go to www.timothytwo.org.
